Postcard #2.4 The Lawn & Alcoves

The Solstice class ships are known for having an upper deck with a lawn. The Silhouette has something a little new to this class of ship in the form of the “Alcoves”, you can secure one of this little areas for mere sum of $149 on a sea day and $99 on a port day. Surprisingly they don’t seem to be that popular…….

Postcard #2.2 Just Perfect!

Who would have thought on our first sea day out of New York we would have had weather like this? We have been sat out on the balcony for 2 hours in glorious sunshine and have decided we really should go to breakfast!

Postcard #2.1 First morning & First Sea Day

Its the first morning and first opportunity to try out the ships WiFi. I treated myself to a package of 90 minutes for $54 less 25% for being a Select member of the Captains Club. It doesn’t seem too bad a deal and it covers the whole ship.

We are just sat out on the balcony in the morning sun enjoying our first coffee of the morning. After just after 12 hours the temperature feels much warmer.

Postcard #1.3 Our Cabin

We are on at last and in our cabin. I had forgotten how good Celebrity was compared to some of the other lines. We are totally relaxed already and we haven’t even set sail yet. Next on the list is the muster at 4.15 which is 45 minutes prior to sailaway.
