Just approaching Civitavecchia a little ahead of schedule. Only just got proper signal for the first time today despite hugging the coast all the way up. Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #13.1 At sea
We are currently at sea just off the west coast of Italy on our way to Civitavecchia where we will stop for 1 hour to disembark some passengers. Just had my first thoughts about returning to work! Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #12.6 PAX Statistics
After a bit of probing I have managed to get hold of the total amounts of all the nationality’s on this cruise which were on board when we left Savona. Of the 1991 total passengers there are
- 626 Germans
- 624 Italians
- 592 French
- 65 Spanish
- 30 British
- 18 Portuguese
- 8 Dutch
- 16 American
- 10 Austrian
- 4 Danes
- 2 Belgium’s
- 2 Argentinians
- 1 Brazilian
- 1 Egyptian
- 1 Czech
- 1 Russian
Very surprised to see there are more Germans than Italians on a ship leaving an Italian port. Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #12.4 Farewell Katakolon
It doesn’t seem we have been here 5 minutes and it is time to go. Is 5 hours long enough at any port I ask? Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
Postcard #12.3 Costa Atlantica from Katakolon
Katakolon is a great location to get a photo of the ship but as with last time we were here, the morning sun is in the wrong place! Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
Postcard #12.2 Tourist shops
This place would be dead without the cruise ships. Still at least the bars are open too! Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
Postcard #12.1 Katakolon
This morning we have arrived 30 minutes early at Katakolon and Costa have wasted no time at getting their tours underway as you will see from the photo. This is only a short stop and we will be leaving at 1.00pm so our plan is to simply stretch our legs and wander round into town where I hope to find myself a nice bar overlooking the harbour while the others go to the shops. I have wondered if the short stop is aimed at encouraging PAX to take the ships tours???? We were given a flier a couple of days ago which gave us a massive 10% off a tour here. It still worked out at €54!!! Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
